Minita Sanghvi, Michele Madigan and Joe Seeman failed to prevail in their county wide races, but in Saratoga Springs Minita won 8082 to 7086 and Michele won 8593 to 6021. (updated and near-final totals as of 11/15) These are our home districts and we can all feel good about representing in our districts, for our candidates. Carrie Woerner, Paul Tonko and Kirsten Gillibrand all prevailed, both locally and county-wide, as did Prop 1. In a “loss” we can be proud of, Saratoga County did not vote for the winning presidential candidate for the first time in 28 years, with a narrow majority in support of Kamala Harris.
