At her campaign kickoff event on June 22, the Row A candidate for Commissioner of Public Works announced that her primary goals are scheduled services (more exact windows of dates for hydrant flushing, leaf pickup, etc), a technology-based communications solution between DPW and residents and unified sidewalk ordinance/code reform. “There needs to be an attitude of customer service,” she said according to the Foothill Business Daily. “We need to make it easier for the city to help constituents find information, such when are streets going to be closed, and not the day before… This information clearly sits somewhere, and we need to find a way to make it public.” Her platform (and an opportunity to donate) is on her campaign website.
