The Saratoga Springs Democratic Committee (SSDC) announced its endorsements for the November 2026 state and congressional races, voting unanimously at their July 18 meeting to back Carrie Woerner for State Assembly District 113, Sarah Rogerson for State Senate District 44, and Paul Tonko for Congressional District 20.
“Saratoga Springs needs strong progressive champions in our state houses and representing us in Washington,” said SSDC Chair Ron Kim. “Assemblywoman Woerner and Congressman Tonko have proven time and time again that they’re willing to take on hard fights to deliver for our neighbors, but they deserve a real partner in the State Senate – not the empty, ineffective suit we have in Jim Tedisco. Sarah Rogerson is the real deal and the SSDC will be with her every step of the way heading into the November election.”
