Pat Tuz, who led the Committee through the 2021 election cycle which ultimately saw all five City Council seats staffed by elected Democrats, cited family health and business issues as reasons for leaving the position effective March 31.
“I’m the kind of person who gives 100% or not all,” stated Tuz. “I enjoyed the work very much. The Committee is made up of volunteers who spend their time and efforts in the pursuit and process of Democracy. We realize the importance and value of a truly free and fair system and we do our share to keep it and grow it. I thank everyone for their hard work and efforts. The value of our work will extend onto our children and future generations.”
