Support election inspectors and fight voter suppression with a contribution to SSDC

The November election promises to be one of the most contentious in our nation’s history, with Republican incumbents threatening to fight voting by mail (which President Trump says is “bad for Republicans”) and eliminate polling places in areas that are home to Democratic voters, especially voters of color. Luckily we have our election inspectors. These folks help our elections run smoothly and efficiently, but increasingly they are also the front-line defense against a national trend of GOP voter suppression. The Saratoga Springs Democratic Committee has a proud tradition of supporting election inspectors. If you would like to join us, and help protect our voting rights, please consider a small monthly donation. (That link will take you to an ActBlue page where you can specify the amount of your contribution and whether it will be one time or repeating. Thank you!)…

You can help in our outreach to local seniors affected by COVID-19

Saratoga Springs Democratic Committee members and community volunteers are contacting local seniors by phone to check in on their well-being, provide information on available resources, and help arrange for deliveries of groceries and other needs for those who are not able to leave their homes. You can help by sharing the information below and, even better by contacting sarah.burger@saratogadems.org to join this effort yourself.
