Michael Phillips for Saratoga County District Attorney

Michael Phillips wants to make sure that the Saratoga DA office is accountable to the people of Saratoga County.  The current District Attorney has been in office since 2014, and Republicans have had the office for over 50 years.  That’s too long ….  “If elected officials are not held accountable by the voters, they do not do their jobs, and, in the case of an elected prosecutor, people are not protected.  That is what has been happening in Saratoga County, and I am running to change that record.”

The DA protects people’s rights and ensures equal justice for all.  Michael will ensure that elections are carried out properly and lawfully. He will ensure women’s rights are protected. He’ll ensure environmental laws are upheld and enforced. More than ever, it’s so important that our local DAs are protecting the rule of law, and are not bowing to extremist groups.

Michael received his undergraduate degree from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA and his law degree from Western New England School of Law. He was admitted to the NYS Bar in June of 1991.  He has 30 years of experience as an advocate, lawyer and organizational leader. He’s worked in both the private and public sectors–from being a counsel at General Electric and Pacific Northern to being President of the Harriman Research and Technology Development Corporation to now being a prosecutor for the NYS Dept. of Health.

Michael has roots in Saratoga County and the North Country, and he understands the issues here. Click here to find out more about Michael – https://phillips4districtattorney.com/
