Christian Mathiesen Reader’s View: On Public Safety accomplishments

The Saratogian
posted Oct. 10/4/15

Thank you to everyone who voted in the Saratoga Springs Democratic Party primary on September 10. As the City Council’s Commissioner of Public Safety for the past two terms, it is very encouraging to have the continued support of so many of my fellow Democrats.

I am now officially representing the Democratic Party, the Working Families Party and the Independence Party on the ballot in November. I also have been given the endorsement of the Women’s Equality Party but representatives of my opponent, Mr. Wirth, are trying to eliminate that line. I am hoping that their effort is not successful. It is time that we all take women’s equality seriously. I look forward to continuing to represent Saratogians of all political parties in my next term.
